How to Get Lean, Sexy Legs

Your legs are one of your most important attributes. They are also one of the first places to carry weight, hide your ankles, and make your thighs look bigger. This is true of women in particular. To some people, those curves are beautiful; but if you don’t like them, you can do something about it. Let’s talk about the subtle things that affect your legs and their shape.

One of the things you can do is wear shoes that are built for shaping the legs. They are available online, but research them a bit first so you don’t develop lower-back issues.

Another option is to walk purposefully. The best way to shape your legs while walking is to walk in long strides and from heel to toe, all the way through, deliberately. When you do this, it shapes your calves to the back of your legs. It will also give you an added bonus by tightening and lifting the buttocks.

Exercises to get  lean, sexy legs:

There are plenty of exercises to get lean, sexy legs. Now, keep in mind that you are not going to make your legs any longer than they already are. Unless you are a kid and still growing, you won’t be able to change their length; but you can change their shape so that it looks as if you are taller. Such an effect looks great in heels. To accomplish this, you need to shape the side of your leg muscles so you have that “cut” on the side, from your ankle to top of your thigh.

The best exercise for this is a special squat. You would do it as you would a regular squat, but with one of your legs extended from the knee outward. Then squat. This will also shape your calf muscles and buttocks.

Perform lunges with weights held straight down at the sides of the body. This will work the entire leg as well as your glutes.

Now, here is the secret to the “long” part: You should stretch as much as you can prior to and after working out. This is the secret to dancers’ bodies, and you can achieve it, too, when you are doing these exercises for lean, sexy legs.

Thus, squats and lunges as well as lifts, always with stretches, remained the tried and true exercises of choice for attractive legs.
